Perched high on a sloped block, Dalrymple is a bold and dynamic family home designed for modern Brisbane living. This striking box modern home was purpose-built for a growing family who needed space to gather, retreat, and connect, all within a complex and challenging site.

The Client Brief
A growing family needed room to gather and room to get away from each other, on a block that fell away steeply from the street. The site was the hardest part of the brief: whatever was built had to earn its position rather than fight it.
Our Solution
The house steps with the slope rather than flattening it, turning the fall of the land into an advantage – the living level sits high enough to take in the city beyond. Inside, the plan separates the shared heart of the home from the quieter zones, so the family can be together or apart without negotiating.
