The Client Brief

The owners wanted European elegance without European formality – a home for a Brisbane family that could hold a crowd on a Saturday and feel calm on a Tuesday. Mediterranean character was the starting point, but it had to sit comfortably in a subtropical climate and on a suburban street.

Our Solution

Arched forms, a stone entry and a curved parapet give the street a Mediterranean silhouette, while French oak floors and travertine keep the interior warm underfoot. A guest suite sits on the ground floor near the entry, with four bedrooms and a family retreat above, and a triple garage absorbs the practical side of family life.

Behind the Build

Mirabello reflects O’Shea & Sons’ commitment to blending beauty with practicality. Built in close collaboration with trusted trades and suppliers, the home is detailed with refined craftsmanship – from custom joinery to sustainable material choices.

The result is a home that feels luxurious without being ostentatious – a space that allows life to unfold effortlessly within its walls.
