And what would our community be without our Senior Citizens?
From Saturday the 15th to Sunday the 23rd of August Queensland will celebrate the 60th anniversary of Seniors Week. We here at O’Shea & Sons want to take a moment to honour what our Senior Citizens bring to our wonderful sunshine filled community. Our seniors have faced much adversity and shown great resilience over the years to build what is one of the greatest places to live on earth, and we couldn’t be more grateful for what they’ve built.
O’Shea & Sons wants to continue on in the spirit of hard work and excellence that our predecessors showed in order to continue to strengthen our great community.
The Home as a Sanctuary
A luxury custom home will likely have a very different meaning for older people. Often it is a place that has become luxury thanks to the many well spent years inside, with all the quirks and idiosyncrasies that have been built up over a lifetime of living. For children and grandchildren, a grandparent’s home can be a sanctuary: a homemade cake and a hot cup of tea and everything suddenly feels ok.
